Stephen Berger is the owner and founder of Bicoastal Lending Group. He is a former minister that has learned the essence of "taking care of people," and has built his company on this premise. He is a "family man," having been married to his wife Shelly for 10 years, and has three adorable kids (Aleah, Elliot and Ryland). Steve is a Chicago native and has a degree in Economics from the University of Illinois. He has an extensive background in sales and marketing and has quickly developed his skills in mortgage brokering. In a relatively short period of time, he has developed the company to brokering loans in six states - Washington, California, Florida, Arizona, Georgia and Oregon - hence the name Bicoastal Lending Group. When he is not brokering mortgage loans and training loan officers, Steve has a passion to learn the art of acting, which he has been studying for the last two years.

Upon earning her Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications: Radio, Television and Film at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in Los Angeles, Heather worked in the music industry booking national tours for big name artists such as Madonna, Jay Leno and P. Diddy. She then relocated to Florida with her family for three years before returning to California. She loves real estate and finances and became a loan officer in the Summer of 2004. Stephen Gansert is a long-time friend of Stephen Berger. He used to be in the full time Ministry with Steve years ago. Stephen Gansert has also worked in automotive sales; at Hummer of Thousand Oaks, he achieved the coveted Master Dealer Award as well as awards for Outstanding Product Knowledge and Customer Satisfaction. In these various settings he has learned that people are individuals with individual needs that are much more important than their middle FICO score.
